The Policy Specialist is responsible for managing public policy and advocacy activities for the Supportive Housing Alliance at the local, State and federal levels with the goal of increasing resources, streamlining production, and ensuring a strong services delivery system in supportive housing. This position represents the Alliance in public settings and in coalition work. While administrative oversight is provided by A Community of Friends, the Policy Specialist works with the Alliance as one entity, interacting with Executive Directors and Housing/Real Estate Directors.
