 Oftentimes we are asked how we got here and what advice we have for others. Following is a reflection on the choices we made, the principles we followed and the people who helped us, which led us to fulfilling careers as fundraisers, leaders, and teachers.

 Set goals and make a plan

Writing down your short and long term goals is a chance for you to create a roadmap. If you know what you want, then it makes it a lot easier to define steps to get there.
